      Alanna Trundle

      President

      Alanna joined Global Captive Management Ltd in September 2010.

      Alanna was born in England and graduated from the University of Exeter in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science specializing in Mathematics with Accounting. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, having qualified with Deloitte in 2007 with whom she transferred to Cayman in 2008. Alanna specializes in group captives and segregated portfolio companies.

      Alanna is currently a member of the IMAC Forum Committee, which organizes the Cayman Captive Forum, the world’s largest captive insurance conference.

      Outside of work, Alanna enjoys running and keeping fit and is a keen touch rugby player for the Global Captive Management team.

      Ian Bridges

      Chief Business Development Officer

      Ian has been with Global Captive Management Ltd for over 10 years, from 2013 to present and previously from 2009 to 2011. Ian held positions of Director of Tax at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Cayman Islands and Senior Manager with the KPMG Cayman Islands' United States Tax Practice. Ian is GCM’s business development leader and enjoys providing solutions requiring both strategic corporate and tax structuring solutions. 

      Ian graduated in 1997 from Saint Francis Xavier University, where he was an Academic All-Canadian (football) and Dean’s List recipient, with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He joined Arthur Andersen in Toronto, Canada, auditing financial and consumer products clients in addition to taxation of expatriates and cross board estate planning. 

      Ian relocated to Cayman Islands with KPMG in 2002 to begin his career in the captive insurance industry, providing a variety of services including tax advisory and compliance to offshore captives insurance companies.

      Ian is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. 

      Ian is a frequent speaker and author on various captive-related emerging issues, including structuring, operations, market trends, regulatory issues, and taxation. Ian also serves as a Director for a captive insurance company, providing medical malpractice coverage to an orthopedic physician practice in the United States. Ian proudly sits on the Cayman Captive Forum of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman.

      Outside of work, Ian dedicates his personal time to his wife of over 20 years and two wonderful daughters. He enjoys golf and hockey.

      Fun Fact: Besides his 15 minutes of fame on House Hunters International, he had a hole in one in his first full year of playing golf! It’s been downhill ever since.

    • Jennifer Reid

      Jennifer Reid

      Chief Operations Officer

      Jennifer joined the GCM team in the spring of 2004. 

      Originally from Canada, Jennifer graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2000. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, qualifying in 2002 and articling with KPMG with whom she transferred to Cayman in 2002. She has also attained the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. Jennifer specializes in group captives and heads up our Group Captive Team.

      Jennifer is also currently part of the Executive of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman in her role as Secretary. 

      In her spare time, she loves to travel and drink great wine.

    • Charlene Tilbanie

      Vice President

      Charlene joined Global Captive Management Ltd as an Account Executive in May 2010, having worked at both PwC Jamaica and KPMG in the Cayman Islands.

      Originally from Jamaica, Charlene graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management Studies. She completed her ACCA examinations in 2004 and moved to the Cayman Islands in January 2009.

      Outside of work, Charlene loves to read and completes a personal '52 Books, 52 Weeks' challenge each year.  She also enjoys doing CrossFit and spending time with her husband. She volunteers her time at her church where she serves as the Assistant Director of the Audio Visual department. She is also the accountant for the Cayman Food Bank, Grand Cayman’s sole centralized food bank.

      James was born in Wales and graduated from the University of Warwick in 2001.  He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, having qualified with Deloitte in 2004.  James spent 2 years in Bermuda with Deloitte as a captive insurance auditor prior to transferring to the Cayman Islands in 2009, where he spent over two years with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority regulating the captive insurance industry.  In 2012, James moved into captive insurance management with Kane, now known as Artex Risk Solutions.  Specializing in group captives, insurance linked securities and single parent captive structures, James moved on from Artex after 11 years, having progressed to the role of Director.

      Outside of work, James loves spending time with his 3 young children, as well as running and watching sports.
